Laboratory experiments at Pecný mainly represent testing of gravimeters for external disturbing effects (temperature, magnetic field, humidity), study of gravimeters and theirs setting (fringe size for AG, rotation of AG, feedback tuning for tidal meters) and amendments of the methodology of observations (calibration, responses of gravimeters). The goal of these experiments is to achieve maximal accuracy of measurements which can be reached only after good knowledge of instruments and origin of disturbing effects. The Pecný station, thanks to it’s location, facility and equipments, is appropriate for such kind of experiments.
